SPOT ON: NOT JUST A PERIOD TRACKER
In a country where 26 states prioritize abstinence over contraception in sex ed, Planned Parenthood needed to make sure teens could get the info they needed. (And not just from social media or friends.)
So we helped rebrand Spot On, one of the first birth control and period apps, to help people with periods understand their bodies better. I crafted language that was friendly yet educational and supportive, shaping a user experience that helped people get access to essential content and care. We also created notifications using emojis and optional code words to help further protect their privacy.
